The Ardonagh Group Announces Appointment of Gordon Newman as Wholesale Segment Leader

The Ardonagh Group (“the Group”) today announces the appointment of Gordon Newman as Wholesale Segment Leader.

The Ardonagh Group’s Wholesale Segment is an international insurance and reinsurance broking business, employing in excess of 400 people and contributing a third of the Group’s gross written premium. It consists of Price Forbes and Bishopsgate.

James Masterton as CEO of Price Forbes & Partners Ltd and Neil Pearce as Managing Director of Bishopsgate will report into Gordon.

Gordon was previously CEO of Cooper Gay's London operation, CGNMB LLP, having taken on the role in November 2013. This followed the sale of Newman Martin Buchan to Cooper Gay, recently rebranded Ed, of which Gordon was the founding Executive Chairman.
