The Ardonagh Group today announces the appointment of Chris Lay as Operating Partner, Ardonagh Capital Partners. In this role Chris will join The Ardonagh Group Executive and work on group strategy deploying his extensive experience across the Ardonagh portfolio of companies.

Chris has 40 years experience in the insurance industry. He has spent most of his career at Marsh most recently serving as CEO of Marsh UK (2018-26). During his career he has held senior leadership roles in the UK, EMEA, North America, and globally.
He currently serves as Chair of the London Market Group and Chair of Insurance United Against Dementia. He is also a non-executive director of Convex Group Limited. He is a past President of The Insurance Institute of London.
