Paula Rios
Paula discusses the history of the “FULLCOVER” magazine, MDS’ flagship publication which has over the years evolved into an international benchmark. She also shares what she loves the most about being Editor-in-Chief and the pride she takes in sharing knowledge of new trends in the insurance industry with people all over the world.
Paula is also Executive Director at HighDome pcc, a company within MDS Group. She has been with MDS Group since 2005, holding a number of roles in her tenure including Executive Director at MDS Portugal. Paula is an advocate of our Ardonagh Community Trust, acting as one of the employee representatives on the board of trustees since 2023.
Yolanda Yong
Yolanda speaks about her unique career path using her experiences from being a lawyer to joining HWF and broking insurance for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A).
Yolanda also reflects on the value being part of Ardonagh brings, how being able to tap into the vast pool of knowledge and expertise has added value to HWF’s client offering as well as the personal professional opportunities that presents. Angela O’Neil is General Manager of broking, for Resilium Insurance Broking.
Angela supports Resilium’s network of Authorised Representatives, helping them to grow their businesses by reaching out across our global network to harness new opportunities.
Having worked in the profession for nearly 30 years, Angela is passionate about insurance and has made many firm friends. She says she is proud to work in an industry that keeps on giving, supporting people when they need it most, helping them every step of the way.
Richard Turner
Senior Commercial Broker, Richard Turner has worked in the insurance profession for over 40-years. Richard began his career as 16-year-old school leaver, working in bloodstock and trading in the old Lloyd’s 1958 building.
During his career, Richard has been lucky enough to touch on moments in history, which included working on the placement for the legendary racehorse Shergar, winner of the Epsom and Irish Derby, who was kidnapped from his stables, never to be seen again.
Richard now uses his remarkable experience working in Property and Casualty for Bishopsgate part of Ardonagh’s Specialty platform, supporting new business enquiries, and existing clients with their placement strategies.

Rachida El Boujdani is a Senior Consultant in Employee Benefits for The Léons Group.

Joe Conway
Ardonagh Advisory M&A Director, Joe Conway, and his team deliver Advisory’s acquisition strategy.
Ardonagh Advisory have added an array of high performing UK businesses to its portfolio, which have expanded the platform’s range of specialisms and geographical reach.
It’s a role Joe describes as fast-moving and involving a lot of uncertainty, where agility and responsiveness to fluid situations are key to success.
Harrison Blair
Harrison Blair, works as a Protection Adviser at Towergate Health and Protection, part of our Advisory platform. Harrison, who has been with the business for just over a year, was winner of Spotlight’s Best Newcomer category in the summer. Growing up playing football, and now through his work as a semi-pro referee, Harrison knows full well the power of teamwork. Among his many early business wins has been performing at 105% of his revenue target – an achievement made possible, he says, by his ability to work closely with colleagues across Advisory to create new opportunities.
Kirsty Elwell-Tilley
Kirsty Elwell-Tilley, who has worked for the business for more than 30 years, shares how a commitment to delivering excellent customer service lies at the very heart of their business.
Kirsty tells how being part of the wider Ardonagh network, enables the team to provide even greater opportunities to meet customer needs by collaborating with businesses across the Group.

Chris Brady
Chris works within the Specialty and Risk unit, dealing with large complex Plc clients around the world. His team works with clients to assess risks to support them in creating a stable insurance programme that will be responsive in the event of a claim.
Chris and his team have had many stand-out achievements, which include spearheading collaborative Group alongside colleagues from Advisory, MGA and Specialty, forging reciprocal trading interactions with newer brands across Ardonagh.
Chris speaks about the qualities and skills needed to work in his team and how having brokers who can empathise, ask the right questions and really listen, enables them to achieve the right results.
Mark Parker
Mark has worked in Risk and Compliance for over 20 years, engaging with a range of stakeholders to help identify their key risks.
Here he describes how integrity, transparency and a commitment to delivering excellent results are integral qualities for his role.
He also shares how he has helped to support Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at Ardonagh by taking part in activities to help promote more inclusive approaches to working. For Mark, helping to build understanding of the many diverse communities and cultures within Ardonagh enables creating a place where everyone can belong.
Jenny Howell
Jenny Howell, is The Ardonagh Group’s Senior Legal Counsel, who works on a wide variety of projects involving M&A, corporate and finance, using her analytical and communication skills to give advice across the business.
In her role Jenny engages stakeholders at all levels and in all areas of the business, which is something she says, that gives her great exposure.

Adam Marlow
Adam Marlow, who works as a Systems Coordinator, within the compliance team in Group Functions, shares how he’s enjoyed a diverse career filled with growth opportunities since he first joined Uris Group on a graduate programme.

Michael Pike
Working within the care sector, which was undoubtedly impacted by the pandemic, Michael has determination and passion to ensure clients have the right policy and right cover to protect them in the unfortunate event of a loss.
This drive coupled with his expertise meant that during 2020, he was able to work with brokers and insurers to find appropriate cover for clients within the care home, domiciliary and children’s nurseries sector to keep them protected from the risks they faced.

Chris Gardner
Working within the world of MGA, Chris plays an integral part in supporting his business with the tracking and management of their MI, analysing key trends and data to optimise their results.
His role also extends to the whole business, working with colleagues to provide them with data for broker and insurer meetings, meaning they can continue to develop their relationships and services within the industry.

Owen Gregory
Owen’s role is centred around the development and maintenance of Paymentshield’s website which sees him innovate new ways the website can improve the customer journey; because there is always ‘room for improvement’.
And with a mindset of always looking to evolve, in 2020 he took it upon himself to proactively learn a completely new programming language which enabled him and his team to add more value to customers online.
