Paula Rios

Editor-in-Chief, MDS Publications

Paula discusses the history of the “FULLCOVER” magazine, MDS’ flagship publication which has over the years evolved into an international benchmark. She also shares what she loves the most about being Editor-in-Chief and the pride she takes in sharing knowledge of new trends in the insurance industry with people all over the world.

Paula is also Executive Director at HighDome pcc, a company within MDS Group. She has been with MDS Group since 2005, holding a number of roles in her tenure including Executive Director at MDS Portugal. Paula is an advocate of our Ardonagh Community Trust, acting as one of the employee representatives on the board of trustees since 2023.

Ewen Brown

UK and Ireland Sales Director, Price Forbes

Ewen shares his journey through a period of remarkable transformation.

He reflects on how the business has grown to a 2,000-strong force in the London Market, becoming a go-to partner for regional brokers seeking access to complex and high-risk insurance solutions. And after recently welcoming the Carrolls team into the fold, Ewen is excited about the expanded reach and new opportunities this integration brings – for clients, colleagues, and the wider market.

He also speaks candidly about the value of a flat, open culture like that at Price Forbes, and how his own background in regional broking helps him connect with clients and guide them through an ever-changing insurance landscape.
