On Thursday 11 September, Ardonagh held its Spotlight Awards – its annual employee recognition event – at the historic Palais Brongniart in Paris, bringing together nearly 400 finalists and friends from across its global group of companies to celebrate the achievements of just some of its incredibly talented colleagues.
A true example of the Ardonagh spirit, this year’s awards saw a record-breaking 1,527 high-calibre nominations submitted from colleagues across all corners of its businesses on behalf of their peers. These nominations were whittled down to 46 finalists, with 11 winners crowned on the night.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award
Reciprocity Project – MDS Group
A transformative initiative supported by MDS Brazil, the Reciprocity Project promotes education, inclusion, and improved quality of life for children and families in Brazilian communities.
As part of the project, MDS employees mentor and help prepare students for the job markets, and have offered 30 apprenticeships to young people, creating long-term impact and opportunity. This project exemplifies how corporate commitment can drive meaningful social change.
Sustainability Award
Tom Clark – Everywhen
As Chief Technology Officer, Tom’s awareness of emerging issues and proactive approach has been vital to ensuring the business is prepared for the future. Leading sustainability efforts across facilities and property management, Tom demonstrates a willingness to challenge the status quo and is dedicated to working collaboratively to identify and implement improved solutions.
His leadership also extends to championing the Pride community, making him a force for positive change.
Technology and Projects Team – Envest
This small but mighty team spearheaded the “Envest Technology Revolution” to provide in-house support and development for its agency and broking applications and infrastructure environment across its business portfolio.
The team not only provided exceptional support to Envest colleagues, brands and customers, but delivered operational efficiencies and created competitive advantage through the launch of ‘Marketplace’ – a game-changing platform in the Australian insurance market.

Handling high volumes of customer interactions daily, Melissa has built an outstanding reputation for providing clear, solution-orientated support – which is further evidenced in her customer reviews.

With over 20 years’ experience in her field, Deepa brings deep expertise, a calm and solution-driven mindset to everyday challenges and has built a reputation for dedication to solving problems and delivering high-quality service to her internal customers – so much so, that she has been called upon to support projects outside her immediate business remit.

Jess joined the US Casualty team from a different sector and quickly made her mark in her first year in the insurance industry.
Known for her adaptability, warmth, and team spirit, she’s built strong relationships and become a key contributor within her first few months in the business – supporting renewals and new business and building strong relationships with underwriters, clients and internal stakeholder alike.

Georgia Kolotsiou – SRS
Georgia’s rapid progression from trainee to assistant broker in just two years is a testament to her intelligence, work ethic, and dedication to growth.

The ACT Award
Catherine Cranley – Arachas
Catherine is a shining example of the ‘ACT’ spirit and proof of the impact individuals can make with tenacity, dedication, and support.
Catherine is deeply involved in her local community in Cappawhite, Co. Tipperary, serving on the Community Council and engaging in various charitable initiatives. In 2024 her fundraising efforts helped secure over €25,000 for the Dillon Quirke Foundation, funding for cardiac screenings and awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS).
In addition to her fundraising efforts, Catherine also mentors multiple teams with Cappawhite Ladies Football and participates in the Gaelic for Mothers and Others team.

Split between Taunton and Cirencester, the teamwork and collaboration of the Usay Private Medical Insurance Sales and Renewals team, paired with an undeniable care and commitment to their customers, set an impressive benchmark for what can be achieved when you work together.
Against a challenging market backdrop, the team managed to exceed new business targets and maintain renewals. Their commitment to fair value and customer satisfaction has been instrumental in Usay’s sustained growth and customer satisfaction in 2024.
