  • Partnership with Centre for Creative Leadership
  • High performance team coaching led by former Ireland rugby captain Rory Best

The Ardonagh Group today announces the launch of the Ardonagh Academy in partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), a global not for profit educational institution specializing in leadership research and development.

Encompassing six bespoke development programmes distilling the strategies and learnings behind the creation of the world’s newest global broking group, the Academy aims to empower existing and future talent with the modern leadership mindset needed to successfully build and grow insurance businesses of the future.

A paid internship programme and structured graduate scheme will commence in 2023 and use the Group’s extensive footprint of offices to connect regional talent with the diverse career pathways on offer across the global insurance chain.

Two new global courses will identify and develop intra and entrepreneurial skills of emerging leaders and create cohort of future C-suite members equipped with responsible leadership skills.

Recognising the continued pipeline of M&A activity throughout the industry, Ardonagh Development Director and former Ireland rugby captain Rory Best and human strategist Bo Mills will also draw on their extensive experience to deliver a coaching programme to accelerate the collaboration and integration of newly formed leadership teams within the Group, drawing on the strategies of the world’s most high performing sporting environments.

The Academy will complement existing technical and professional skills programmes across Ardonagh’s four platforms and ensure that high potential individuals joining the business – whether through acquisition or at any point in their career – can thrive.

David Ross Ardonagh Group Chief Executive said: “We believe Ardonagh has been able to grow effectively because our businesses are powered by people who want to leave their projects, teams and clients better than where they found them. This is sustainable leadership at its core and launching Ardonagh Academy is our public commitment to seek out and develop the talented individuals to take this mindset into the future for the benefit of our industry and our clients.”

“We want to harness the unrivalled collective of experiences we have within this Group, learn from our successes and failures and support a highly connected and diverse group of leaders to do their best work across Ardonagh’s businesses as our growth continues and as we adapt and evolve in line with the world. As one of the world’s leading independent brokers, it is our responsibility to ensure no one ever leaves Ardonagh through lack of opportunity and support.”

Nick Richardson from the Centre for Creative Leadership said: “The world requires new thinking and vision from professions like insurance to solve both local and global challenges. We’re delighted to be partnering with Ardonagh, a leader in its field, to support its leaders to drive positive, transformational, and sustainable change in their own organisations and in the wider community.
