Multiple accolades for Ardonagh companies at 2018 Insurance Times Awards

On Thursday 5 December, industry leaders from across the UK came together for the 2018 Insurance Times Awards with The Ardonagh Group’s Deputy CEO, Janice Deakin, as well as teams from Carole Nash and Paymentshield taking home several of the top prizes of the night.

Each year, the Insurance Times Awards recognise outstanding achievement, celebrate excellence and innovation, and honour the best of the best in the insurance business.

Janice Deakin was up against an impressive shortlist to be awarded Broker CEO’s CEO of the Year; an impressive feat and a very deserving winner.

Commenting on her win, Janice said: “The most amazing thing about this award is that I was an insurer for a very a very long time, then moved over to the broker side.

“What I love about brokers is they’re all entrepreneurs, they mortgage their houses, they gave everything to start their businesses. To be voted by them as one of them is just amazing.”

Congratulations also go to the team from Carole Nash for taking out Marketing Campaign of the Year – Business to Consumer for their campaign with ambassador and three-time World Superbike Champion Jonathan Rea.

Paymentshield won Marketing Campaign of the Year – Business to Business for the second year running, for their second National Conversation Week initiative.

A special mention must go to Geo Underwriting’s Private Clients team and Broker Network, part of our shareholders’ wider portfolio of companies, who were also recognised and celebrated as finalists on the night.
